The Lord deserves the most precious thing we have
“There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat. But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste?” Matt. 26:7-8
Have we discovered that the Lord deserves the most precious thing we have - our love? “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first [foremost] commandment.” (Mark 12:30)
